Position: Customer Order Specialist

Location: Archdale, NC 

We supply telecom, wireless, and broadband backhaul to tech companies so they can build high quality networks.  But, we also provide them with stellar customer service that can't be matched anywhere else in our field. 

Position purpose: 

To provide exceptional service, support, and communication through direct management of customer orders.   Drive customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring sales and purchase orders match customer orders thereby providing them the products they need and expect. 

Will act as a primary liaison with sales, purchasing, shipping and accounting. 

Primary job responsibilities: 

  • Meticulously review and ensure customer orders match sales order and order confirmation details by verifying product descriptions, item numbers, quantity and price are consistent and accurately reflected throughout the order process. 
  • The above must be done at both the item and total purchase levels.
  • Verify purchase orders accurately reflect sales orders requiring third party product sourcing.
  • Investigate and correct sales orders, supplier and delivery discrepancies.
  • Update vendor detail list to insure items and pricing are accurate and up to date.

Requirements:  

  • H. S. diploma and at least 5 years work experience or college degree. 
  • Obsessive attention to detail.
  • Passionate about taking care of customers as the number 1 priority.
  • Candidate must have excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.  He/she must be able to take ownership and drive the resolution of issues despite the origination.
  • Experience with order fulfillment is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of telecom industry a plus.
  • Sound computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of Sage 300 a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
