As networks and the variety of powered network devices grow, so does the need for reliable power distribution and protection in multimedia broadband networks. The PowerWorx power distribution products have been engineered from the ground up to properly protect and distribute power to valuable, revenue generating network equipment.

POWERWORX®

SUPERPOWER™GMT SERIES

PowerWorx SuperPower GMT Series panels accept high input power – up to 100 Amps per bus, and similarly, up to 20 Amps output power per GMT fuse position. Standard (front and rear access) and total front access panels are available. User-friendly “upside down” fuse holders and high-brilliance LEDs allow technicians to quickly identify and replace blown fuses in the field. Other features include two-post grounding, removable clear polycarbonate input/output connector covers and a selection of connector and fuse configurations. These panels operate under either positive or negative voltage conditions.

SELECT SERIES

As data and telephony converge, network elements with varying amperage requirements are often mixed within the same bay. The Select Series fuse platform enables service providers to fuse this equipment from one platform, in a single rack unit, making the most of valuable space. It's compact foot print and versatility are well suited for collocation applications where high-amperage equipment such as routers, DSLAMs, and Sonet gear are installed with lower-amperage equipment. Its patent-pending modular design enables service providers to combine TPA, KTK/KLM, GMT fuses within a single rack unit. Input power up to 100 Amps per bus with up to 50 Amps output power per fuse position is available.

ADVANTAGE SERIES

The Advantage Series platform accepts input power up to 300 Amps per bus (600 Amps total capability), up to 125 Amps per high-current output position, and up to 15 Amps per GMT fuse position (optional). A patent-pending design, the Advantage Series platform can be configured to meet unique network powering needs.

Compact, flexible PowerWorx configurations suit most network applications. Using the universal mounting brackets, the panel can be flush-or recess-mounted into 19-inch (483mm) and 23-inch (584mm) EIA and WECO racks.

All Advantage Series panels have six positions on each side. Each position can be filled with TPC Fuses or circuit breakers. TPC up to 125 Amps per position. Circuit breakers up to 100 Amps per position.
